Dents or other surface damage can occur when unloading machined parts from the lathe, resulting in a significant increase in defective parts and, consequently, waste material.

This inevitably leads to an increase in costs and a variety of problems with the production work schedule.

Robofeed C10, the robotic system developed by Assistec, makes it possible to prevent any nonconforming workpieces and easily works on them. This optimises the production flow and ensures high performance.

Integrated 2D camera

Robofeed C10 is equipped with a state-of-the-art 2D camera, which allows rapid repositioning of the unit after moving from one machine tool to another, and identification of the best strategy for picking up the workpiece.

●    Automated storage

Workpiece storage is fully automatic. All machined parts are placed by the integrated robotic arm in easily extractable drawers, even placing them in blister packs.

●    Reduction of defects

Systematic production tracking enables rapid detection of defective parts and constant updates on tool wear and breakage.

●    Workpiece cleaning

The optional integrated blowing unit enables chips and oil traces to be effectively removed from workpieces.
